ACADEMY is an established 26-year old manufacturing company of awnings, canopies, umbrellas, shade structures, and cabanas. We are located in the City of Commerce, California in a 15,000 sq. ft building where we custom manufacture on site to our customer's specifications.  We’ve combined the quality of our product and service with experienced industry experts to produce exceptional designs for corporations worldwide.  Academy has no geographic limits!

Academy has changed the way the awning business is done by offering a concentrated approach to the industry, working in specific markets, understanding customer needs, and incorporating new and old technologies.

Academy’s extensive use of computer technology, including software programs such as Solid Works and AutoCad, allows us to produce technical and aesthetic prints and drawings to give the customer an exact rendering of the final product.  With a continuing eye on detail and an extensive quality control program, we ensure that the products that leave our facility are of the highest quality.

Our participation in high-profile trade shows such as Hospitality Design Las Vegas, HD Boutique Miami, Retail Construction Expo & Western Foodservice Expo Los Angeles, keep us in touch with specific markets. As active members of NEWH, ICSC, IFAI, WCPA, and Hotel and Resort organizations, we are able to network with a wide range of industry professionals to keep us abreast of trends and upgrades of various products.
